Clinic News:

Dental Arts of Freehold now offers BruxZir, solid Zirconia crowns and bridges! BruxZir is made from biocompatible, virtually unbreakable medical-grade zirconia-- the same element used to make bulletproof military armor.

BruxZir has no porcelain overlay which makes it extremely durable and resistant to cracking or chipping in the mouth. It is an ideal choice for bruxers or grinders who have broken their natural teeth or have had porcelain restorations in the past.

As opposed to the full-cast gold and porcelain crowns/bridges used by doctors in previous years, BruxZir is the most natural-looking choice, with even more strength and reliability.

The most important service we provide is a routine cleaning. Twice a year, we see our patients to ensure they are keeping up their dental health. This maintenance prevents fillings, root canals, and the general deterioration of the enamel. However, periodontal maintenance is also a vital part of dental health.

During a typical cleaning, the gums may bleed. Bleeding creates an opportunity for bacteria to swarm the bloodstream. Latest research show that these oral pathogens have been linked to a number of other diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and diabetes.

Infection can travel to different areas of the mouth but decontamination ensures that the infection cannot spread. Laser cleaning is painless and typically takes only five to ten minutes. We highly recommend to all of our patients to pursue laser cleaning for a cleaner and healthier mouth.
